Also borrowed from the Prefix Plus design are feedback fighting phase and notch controls. An innovation for the Pro-EQ Platinum is Fishman's "Smooth" acoustic compression circuit. It subdues the explosive high frequencies when you strum hard or snap the strings. Additionally, the Pro-EQ Platinum has a balanced XLR output.
